The Kanata Girls Hockey Association (KGHA) Annual General Meeting will take place on:

Date: Wednesday, May 26th, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Johnny Leroux Arena - 10 Warner-Colpitts Ln, Ottawa, ON K2S 1V7

All KGHA members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

AGM Overview

The AGM provides an opportunity for members to:

• Review the 2025-2026 season
• Receive reports from the Executive
• Discuss association business
• Vote on Executive positions

Executive Positions - Call for Nominations

KGHA is seeking volunteers to join the Executive for the upcoming term.

Positions anticipated to be open include:

• Vice-President, Finance
• Tournament Coordinator
• Equipment Coordinator - HL
• Fundraising and Sponsorship Coordinator
• Secretary
• Ice Scheduler - CL
• Ice Scheduler - HL
• Treasurer - (Interview Position)
• Development Coordinator - HL (Interview Position)

How to Apply

Members interested in an Executive position must:

• Submit an expression of interest in writing by Tuesday, May 12th, 2026
• Include a brief summary of experience and the position of interest

• Nominations from the floor will not be accepted

Constitutional Amendments

Members wishing to propose amendments to the Constitution must submit them in writing no later than:

Tuesday, May 12th, 2026

Questions for the AGM

Members who wish to have questions addressed at the AGM are asked to submit them in advance.

Member Participation

All members are encouraged to attend and participate.
Voting will be conducted in accordance with KGHA guidelines.
